movie vs book (i adore them both)

How could you leave this in the notes, excellent addition

Actually, this makes the childification of Michael in the movie when he’s 15 in the book really funny: Sophie, a 20-ish year old woman from a fantasy land where getting married at 16 or 17 does not seem to be unusual: Yes, this is a young man who is almost an adult.

Howl, a man in his late 20s from our world: This is a BABY and he does BABY things.

Another reason why AMTRAK sucks and it even isn’t their fault

As BLET forcefully put it in a May release, “The time has come for our Nation’s railroads to be held accountable for their actions, and reconcile the long-term effects of their greed.”

Source: Corporate billionaires are wrecking the supply chain. Just look at the railroads.

Then, the train companies will fail hard as they no longer have employees in operations, only in corporate. And then the government (state, federal) will have to intervene after deciding the train companies are Too Big To Fail™.

The people who railroaded the system into oblivion will walk away with billions, while the workers lose everything, and the taxpayers foot the bill.

“The whole episode has been strange for his three children, especially his 14-year-old son, who is big into TikTok. “‘Why is my dad, the most cringe guy in the universe, everywhere on TikTok?’” Mr. Theroux said, giving voice to his son’s reaction.”

Speed Biking home to/from work takes me at least 25 minutes at a hard ride. I had to make that trip in the middle of the night at a much harder pace.
