The worst week for civil rights in the country in decades.
And the court signals they will take more away. Rights to contraception and same-sex marriage are next.

I’m ultra-low-class: got to work and work and work. I plan on going up… but it implies I could become a target for those who would take my liberty away; worse yet, they would take liberty away from those I consider my family. So I’m forced to think about all those things strangers would do to me, so I can take preventive measures.
I’m forced to think like a hitman, kidnapper, robber, spy. Like a criminal. You don’t have to behave like one. Lots of criminals are quite civilized when they’re not being criminals. But when it’s time to steal, kidnap or kill they do so with a blood curling efficiency.
Due to non-existent trust I have in the authorities — by own experience, no less! — I would not even call them in case someone tries to threaten the life of those who are my own. I just would try to make that person stop existing. Just like the authorities do when someone criticizes them. Just like a criminal would do.
These days you have to do unto others before they do unto you. I’m one of those who believe in the idea of don’t do to others what you don’t want done to yourself, but a criminal won’t care about it.
This begins by arming up. A pistol, a rifle, a shotgun. Look for someone trustworthy who can provide them and teach how to use them. Doesn’t take a lot of mental effort; you just need to know what not to do to hurt oneself or those you love…
Firearms are regulated by the army? Learn how to use blades. A bit of martial arts if you have no weapon. With a twist you can break an arm; with some headphones asphyxiate someone. Just need to know how and know oneself capable of it.
Soon the day will come when everyone carries some type of weapon. Those who don’t is because they’ve got shadows who do. The day will come in which a criminal tries to rob the wrong person and pays with his life and the body disposed of in an empty lot. It’s here when I think of the other side of the coin: the family of the — now quite dead — criminal will wait for him; when he doesn’t come they will think the worst and suffer because of it.
A lot of people have left the country because of this. These are the smart ones who leave the war zone behind. It takes a lot to leave behind friends, school, work, family… a whole life. But they’re the smart ones. They escape before it becomes impossible, sometime around 2010. Some crazy fool will try to rise up in arms, in a macabre celebration of the bi-centenary of the Independence war and the centenary of the Mexican Revolution. All you need to do is get the month right.
That this is an alarmist post? True. But I’m just writing up what lots of people already have echoing in their minds.
Yo soy clase ultra. Ultrabaja y trabaja. Pienso subir… pero el subir implica que seria un blanco para aquellos que me privarían de mi libertad o , peor aun, privarían de su libertad a aquellos que considero mi familia. Ende me veo obligado a pensar en todas esas cosas que aquellos me harían, para poder tomar medidas en contra.
Me veo obligado a pensar como sicario, secuestrador, allanador, asaltante. Como un criminal. No hay que comportarse como uno. Muchos criminales, cuando no lo son, son personas bastante civilizadas. Pero cuando llega la hora de robar, secuestrar, o matar, lo hacen con una eficacia escalofriante.
Debido a la nula confianza que le tengo a las autoridades — y por experiencia propia! — ni siquiera les hablaría en caso de que alguien trate de influir negativamente en la vida de los míos. Simplemente trataría de hacer que esa persona deje de existir. Tal y como lo hacen las autoridades cuando alguien los critica.Tal y como lo haría un criminal.
La regla de hoy es hacerlo antes de que te lo hagan. Yo soy mas de los que cree en el ideal de no hacer lo que no quieras que te hagan… pero al criminal no le importa eso.
Eso comienza con el proceso de armarse. Una pistola, un rifle, una escopeta. Buscar algún conocido que las pueda proveer, y enseñar a usarlas. No hace falta mucho esfuerzo mental; solo hay que saber que no hacer para no herirse a si mismo o los que uno quiere..
Que las armas de fuego son reguladas por el ejercito? Aprender el uso de las armas blancas, así como artes marciales en caso de no tener armas. Con un simple giro puedes romper un brazo; con unos audífonos asfixiar a alguien. Solo hay que saber como y saberse capaz de hacerlo.
Pronto llegara el día en que todos anden con algún tipo de arma. Los que no, es por que tienen sombras que si. Llegara el día en que un criminal trate de asaltar a la persona equivocada, lo pague con su vida y el cuerpo sea tirado en el monte. Es aquí donde entra el otro lado de la moneda: la familia de este — ahora muerto — criminal lo esperara y pensara lo peor, y sufrirá.
Ya muchos se fueron del país por lo mismo. Ellos son los inteligentes, que dejan la barbarie atrás. Toma mucho dejar atrás amigos, escuela, trabajo, familia… una vida. Pero ellos son los inteligentes. Escapan antes de que sea imposible, por ahí del 2010. Algún ideatico tratara de hacer su insurrección armada, en una macabra celebración del bicentenario de la guerra de Independencia y el centenario de la Revolución Mexicana. Solo falta atinarle al mes.
Que esta en una entrada alarmista? Cierto. Pero solo estoy escribiendo lo que muchos ya traen en la cabeza.
